Yes. Air Zone Plus LLC is a fully licensed and insured HVAC contractor operating in Texas. We carry all required credentials to perform residential and commercial HVAC work.
Installation time depends on equipment, ductwork, permits and project scope. We can discuss an estimated schedule with your planned-project quote; a one-day completion is not guaranteed.
Yes. Our membership lists seasonal tune-ups and other benefits. Maintenance may help identify issues early, but it cannot guarantee no breakdown or particular energy savings. See Membership for current advertised details and ask about contract terms.
We work with all major HVAC brands. Our team is experienced with a wide range of manufacturers and can recommend the right system for your specific home or business needs.
Our Financing page links to Foundation Finance Company prequalification. Approval, rates, down payment and eligible work depend on the lender’s current terms; prequalification is not a firm offer of credit.
Request a free estimate for a planned installation, replacement, duct replacement or other scoped project. If an existing system needs on-site fault diagnosis, use the repair path: the diagnostic fee is $125 for nonmembers, separate from the repair charge and not credited or waived because a repair is approved. Confirm any applicable membership benefit with our team.
Yes. Air Zone Plus LLC is a family-owned and operated HVAC company proudly serving Houston and the surrounding Texas communities.
For an existing system fault, the technician diagnoses the issue on site. The nonmember diagnostic fee is $125, separate from any repair charge and not credited or waived upon repair approval. We quote repair work after diagnosis, before you authorize it. Ask about the current membership agreement if applicable.
Repair pricing depends on the specific fault, parts and labor. Air Zone Plus charges $125 for a nonmember on-site diagnosis of an existing system. The diagnostic fee is separate from the repair quote and is not credited or waived because you approve a repair; ask about any applicable membership exception under your agreement. We quote repair work after diagnosis.
Replacement cost depends on equipment size, efficiency and scope, including any ductwork. Request a free estimate for a planned replacement to get a project-specific quote. If you first need a fault diagnosed in an existing system, the nonmember on-site diagnosis is $125 and separate from the repair charge.
Significantly. Houston's humidity forces your system to run longer cycles to remove moisture from the air. That means more wear, higher bills, and shorter equipment lifespan compared to drier climates. Proper sizing and regular maintenance are the best defense.
You can plan replacement before peak summer demand, but availability and price vary; we do not promise seasonal discounts or emergency-rate differences. Ask for a free planned-project estimate when you are ready.
Yes — check these first: Is the thermostat set to cool and below room temperature? Is the filter clogged? Is the circuit breaker tripped? Is the outdoor unit running? If all of that checks out and it still isn't cooling, that's when you call us.
The Membership page currently lists $21 a month for 12 months, including two seasonal tune-ups and priority scheduling. It also advertises waived service-call and trip fees for eligible members. Please confirm eligibility and exclusions with our team; repairs and parts are additional.
For most repairs and installations, yes — we need access to both the indoor and outdoor units. For routine tune-ups, if you have a trusted person who can let us in and reach you by phone, that works too.
Our Financing page links to a Foundation Finance Company prequalification request. The provider determines eligibility and terms; prequalification uses a soft credit inquiry and is not a loan approval or firm offer. Ask us which projects are currently eligible.
Not necessarily. A blank thermostat is often a dead battery, a tripped breaker, or a blown fuse — all easy fixes. Replace the batteries first. If that doesn't work, check your breaker panel. Still blank? Call us.
We clean the condenser coils, check refrigerant levels, test electrical components, clear the condensate drain, inspect the air handler, lubricate moving parts, and run a full performance test. It takes about an hour and it's the single best thing you can do before Houston summer.
Two main causes — restricted airflow from a dirty filter or blocked vents, or low refrigerant. If you see ice on the unit, shut it off and let it thaw completely before running it again. Then call us to find out which problem you have.
During peak July and August heat, long run cycles are normal. But if it runs 24/7 and never reaches your set temperature, something is wrong — undersized system, refrigerant issue, or duct leak. That's worth a call.
Fall tune-ups prepare your heating system for winter. Houston winters are mild but furnace failures still happen on cold nights. A fall tune-up catches problems before you need heat at midnight in December.
Uneven room temperatures, dust around vents or higher bills may suggest a duct issue, but they can have other causes. Ask about a free estimate for planned duct replacement; troubleshooting an existing fault on site follows the $125 nonmember diagnostic path.
Repair or replacement depends on equipment condition, repair scope, efficiency and your plans. Ask us to diagnose a fault before approving a repair, or request a free estimate for a planned replacement. A nonmember on-site diagnosis is $125 and separate from the repair charge.
Yes. Persistent indoor humidity above 60 percent promotes mold growth, warps wood floors and cabinetry, and creates air quality problems. If your AC is running but your home still feels muggy, your system may be oversized or malfunctioning. We can diagnose it.
Turn the thermostat to off. Go to your breaker panel and flip the AC breaker off, wait 30 seconds, then flip it back on. Wait 5 minutes before turning the thermostat back to cool. This protects the compressor from a hard restart after a surge.
Change your filter monthly, set your thermostat to 76 to 78 degrees instead of lower, use ceiling fans to circulate air, close blinds during the hottest parts of the day, and have one maintenance visit per year to keep your system running efficiently. These simple habits add up.
